Whether you’re a new couple or been together 20 years, you need to keep DATING your partner. It’s easy to let life get in the way of intentional time together but don’t let a lack of ideas be another excuse. Here’s a few ideas with something for every budget.

- Concerts (we LOVE large arena concerts but they can get tough on a budget but find and follow local bands near you for lots of fun at a fraction of the cost)

- Video Games
- Ice Skating/Rollerskating

- Window Shopping
- Netflix Night In
- Game Night In
- Date Night box service (DateBox and Date Night In are two I’ve looked at but haven’t yet tried)
- Try a new restaurant (we keep a list on our phones of places we want to try so that when we have the time we have a ton of options to pick from)
- Paint Night
- Library or Bookstore
- Movie (if, like us, you don’t EXACTLY have the same taste in movies, take turns picking)
- Play/Musical
- Make a new recipe together
- Find a place to watch the sunrise or sunset together
- Pack a picnic
- Drive out to the middle of nowhere to look at the stars
And don’t forget to take advantage of seasonal events like apple orchards, haunted houses, sledding etc
If you’re still stuck for ideas, check Groupon for local things to do at a discount. Or I love to find and follow local Facebook pages and am always marking ‘interested’ in events so Facebook suggests tons of events that I might be interested in.
